On Saturday our Mireu Martial Arts Taekwondo and Kumdo teams participated in the Guardian Institute Classic in Cedar Rapids.
The day was filled with excitement, skill, friendship, and fun! The event had a little something for everyone; Taekwondo Poomsae, Weapons Forms, Olympic Sparring - both Taekwondo and Kumdo, Creative Breaking, Power Breaking, and Jumping High.

Martial Arts competitions like the Guardian Classic help build a community of competition and friendly interactions. Everyone was supportive of each other and cheering each other on. Our team not only left with medals, but great memories!
